As many people across the UK found a European summer holiday prohibitively expensive in 2022, the McDonald's Summer Menu offered the opportunity to enjoy the tastes of the mediterranean without having to leave home. 
The logos were influenced by the typography of Mediterranean 1960s travel posters, while the crisp, seaside backgrounds emphasised the summer holiday feel of the campaign.
